Braindonors Active Remote
Braindonors Active Remote is an integrated RDP and VNC Client for Windows that
allows you to connect to and manage any* Windows Linux or Mac based Computer on
your network.
Each connected server gets it's own tab, so there's no more switching between
windows on the task bar or remembering complex urls.
What is RDP?
RDP is the desktop sharing protocol bundled with windows, it is supported
in most of the installed base of windows machines.
What is VNC?
VNC is the remote desktop sharing protocol bundled with Mac OS X and Linux
machines, it is supported in most of the installed distributions.
What can I do with Active Remote?
- Manage a Windows or Linux machine by logging on to it's console
- View the Event Log (Windows) and get Basic Disk, Processor and Memory Information
- Explore the computer's Drives and Hosted websites
- Power on, Restart and Power off remote machines
